Update from Moseley and Kings Heath neighbourhood policing team

Dear Resident,

Here’s a quick round up from myself and the rest of the Moseley and Kings Heath neighbourhood policing team.

What’s been happening?

We’ve had a productive week across Kings Heath and Moseley!

Officers and partners have been working together to keep our neighbourhoods safe.

Officers have seized 2 vehicles in the area that did not have valid Tax or MOT.

We attended local business improvement district meeting to discuss ongoing community issues, including antisocial behaviour and ways to support local businesses.

Officers met with local councillors to address concerns in the area and strengthen partnership working throughout Moseley and Kings Heath.

Additional patrols were carried out in response to reports of antisocial behaviour on Kings Heath High Street, providing reassurance to residents, businesses and shoppers.

We conducted a reassurance visit at Barnfield court in Moseley following reports of unknown individuals loitering around the premises, speaking with vulnerable residents and offering crime prevention advice.

Lastly, we carried out an online safety presentation with our local Schools officer PC Dale in Moseley, delivering an online safety talk to both pupils and parents highlighting risks that young people may face online and offering advice on everyone staying safe.

Our upcoming events:

Community Drop-in: PCSOs will be at Kings Heath community centre on 24th February between 11am – 1pm

Please note: our community meetings are scheduled for 11am however due to operational commitments, officers may arrive slightly later than planned, we will attend as soon as we are able to.
